Tasty pastries and cakes. one of my favorite bakery.

Have been going to this bakery for 20 years. I never had problem with any worker until today. Very rude woman name is Victoria. I ordered a lot of different cakes breads pastries etc she wanted to put my apple gooey pastries with my cookies in the box when I asked for separate box for apple pastries she told me there would be a charge of 1.20 I had never been charged before for a box to put my pastries in. It is not about the money it is horrible how rude this woman was and trying to make me pay for something I should not have. This bakery is the best I will really miss going there and I will definitely tell my Family members and friends to stay away from this bakery because of this women’s rude behavior.

This is a family owned bakery I have been going to for 16 years. Everything is baked fresh, prices are the same as they were 16 years ago and the variety is great. Their Pecan Roll has been a favorite in my house since my kids were little. Great bakery!

I had ordered the cheese danish and the pecan custard pastry. It was truly wonderful and light, not super sweet at all. Something I can definitely eat a lot of. The pecan was a nice touch with the custard. I cant wait to come back and try other goodies

Old fashion bakery rolls, pastry danishes cakes. Mothers Day went at 8am and in minutes there was a long line. Been around a long time.

Was introduced to the bakery - love the bakery but the reason I am posting only one star (I would have give them 4 stars) was because of the street that the bakery is on - Broad Ave. I parked my car with my friend on the driver seat as I run in to get some of the baked goods and I got a TICKET via mail. I did not know that there were camera on the parking meter. So if you are not paying and even though you are gone for a few minutes - and WITH A DRIVER IN THE CAR even though idle - you can get a $30 fine. Sorry I am leery about shopping anywhere in Palisades Park and will not be coming back. So if you are around Pal Park - don't assume that you can just let your car run while you run a few minutes errand. In matter a fact I will totally avoid Pal Park area all together. Who knows what other camera are "lurking" around so that they township can make half and million dollars in fine.

The Best bakery in all of NY and NJ... This place is in a class on it's own... EVERYTHING IS FRESH!!! Even though everything in this bakery is amazing, you'll have to try their signature treats: "The Cheese Cake" and their "Chocolate Seven Layer Cake" and their Bread. The owner is an authentic German Master Baker for over 40 years, and he's owned this bakery for almost that long, so you'll have to the different varieties of bread. Enjoy it while it lasts... because in a few more years this bakery may no longer be around...

The best of the best Pecan Custard $10.50

I've been coming to Palisades Park Bakery for some time now and you should be too! I highly recommend the chocolate frosted custard donuts (nope, not called Boston cream), pecan custard ring and the muffins. As you can see by the pics, the donuts are STUFFED! You can't beat the prices for the amount of quality being served up here. And to top it all off, you get genuinely great customer service...all the right ingredients (no pun intended). Stop denying yourself and go give em a try. It'll be well worth the trip!

Best bakery.

I came to this bakery because of the rave reviews. I ordered 3 types of cupcakes as sample pieces. The chocolate with buttermilk frosting, the chocolate with chocolate frosting, and the red velvet. Hands down the red velvet was the best out of the three. The other 2 were just okay. It's a tad pricier than the others, but worth it. Staff was helpful and polite.

Hoping and praying Palisade Park Bakery opens soon!!! Missing their custard filled pecan ring , Chocolate cream pie, Napoleon's and the best custard filled cakes ever!!! The first time I ever tasted their cake was 30 years ago .. I was pregnant and had some at a friend's shower. Everything was repeating on me in my late stage of pregnancy....I kept tasting the vanilla/ chocolate cake !!! What a delight ,tasting that cake over and over again!! I was in heaven!!! Hoping all is well and that this wonderful bakery opens soon!!!! (Although I am a baker, their baked goods are quality and I easily step aside to let them make some of the best desserts ever!!

One of the last great bakery's around. We've been ordering special cakes like birthdays and graduations here for years. Great quality and service. Love the old school feel. Get the car with whipped cream instead of butter cream it tastes sooooooooo much better.

Cash only. The best cream donuts I have ever had. Full of cream and little cake. Crumb cake that is cut in half and filled with custard. Nice fresh bread and rolls. The place to buy Irish soda bread. Anything you buy there is fresh and very tasty. Much better than Carlos bakery of Hoboken and alot cheaper.

Love this bakery! They have the best pecan custard!!! There are a variety of baked goods and the prices are decent. There is metered street parking and free parking at the back.During the holidays, I highly recommend calling in orders. They run out of popular items quickly.Also...cash only.

All their baked good offerings are delicious and affordable. The chocolate creme pie and the pecan custard bread are things to get. Highly recommended.

One of the few Italian establishment left in Palisades Park. (used to be only one bakery when I came to this town) Pecan Ring (with cream filling) is one of the most popular menu and sought after among many customers. I wish they also accept credit card but this place only accept cash.

Thanksgiving I called I was told you can't call an order in you have to come when I came there the line was out the door I waited in line they said they were sold out and they said come tomorrow but you couldn't make a reservation I made the reservation I got there they were sold. Normally they're very good don't know what happened this year I don't know customer regular customer and they sold it to who knows what happened don't eat sweets 7 days a week anymore. Good place Donuts are fresh donuts a big for the money you pay well worth it finally making other things other than chocolate for your chocolate holic Perfect Place bring cash no credit cards even in this day in age Cash's best cash is only at Palisades Park Bakery again no credit cards.

Palisades Park Bakery has been around a long long time!!! As long as I can remember as a little girl. They have "THE BEST CREAM DONUTS" that I have ever had in my life. Whether it is chocolate covered or powdered sugar. If you think you can walk in in the afternoon and purchase them you might be out of luck because they sell like hot cakes!!! Their Pecan Danish ring with the same cream filling as the cream donuts is also to die for. Honestly is out of this world!!! Their Apple Turnovers are also killer along with their other cakes and breads. So if you would like to check out The Palisades Park Bakery I HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU ORDER THEM. Other wise 9 out of 10 times the donuts are gone by noon time. Trust me when I tell you they are to dye for. So place your orders a head of time.

Ths donuts are amazing! Wish it was closer to home but probably a good thing its not. I'd be eating way too many treats from here.

Never actually went but I always always get their pecan custard here. Ate it parties, gatherings, and sometimes patients bring it as a treat for my office staff. I hear the custard always gets sold out so better go in the morning before everyone else buys it! Highly recommend.

Do not get the strawberry shortcake. It's very dry, and there's too much sugar and jam. I know other stuff here are pretty good, so just get anything other than strawberry shortcake.

Pastries and cakes are always fresh and delicious! Great for special occasion and cheat days!

The regular coffee is delicious, and the prices are very reasonable.
